I'm trying to check the core web vitals of my website but found out that it also checked my subdomains. I've checked PageSpeed Insights and GSC but couldn't find ways to deal with this.

How can I avoid that?

Core Web Vitals as reported by the Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX) are given by Origin and URL (where available) in PageSpeed Insights, and by page grouping of URLs in Google Search Console. They do not include subdomains in this in either of these tools. Can you explain why you think it does?

  • Hi thanks for answering, I found out how to do that in pagespeed insights. As for GSC, I found the subdomains in the report so that's why I asked. I'm not the one set up the GSC for the website so I'm not sure if it's a setting or not. I'm just wondering if there's a way to only test for the main domain.

  • is it true that the data GSC gathered is from Crux, and Crux only gets data from chrome users? I saw it on this article smashingmagazine.com/2021/04/…

  • Maybe you're looking at the "domain report" in GSC instead of the individual site report? And Yes Chrome (as it's name suggests) is Chrome-only: developer.chrome.com/docs/crux/methodology#user-eligibility Commented 2 days ago
