Mark Anderson here. I am a Systems Administrator at ScaleOut Search Group and live in the beautiful city of Minneapolis. I'm a tech geek who loves fishing and spending time with my family. I began my career as a Unix Admin working with AIX, HP-UX and Solaris systems and then moved into the world of x86 Intel and AMD-based systems on Linux and Windows and managing virtual environments (VMware and Citrix) for companies and clients in the services space. I also dabble in networking setup, mostly Cisco but some HP Procurve, Dell and Arista builds over the years along with a bunch of access point and firewall equipment. I've also set up external storage systems on most major OEMs, as well as EMC, NetApp and Oracle. The wife tells me we spend too much on our home lab, but I love staying fresh, always trying new things.
