As John says, this is fake traffic known as "referral spam". This morning I had about 80% of my "traffic" coming from this same domain. Rest assured, you are not paying Google for these clicks. The basic idea behind referral spam is that some hosts will publish their logs or Analytics data publicly, thus creating links and/or text references to their spam-...

Once an individual adwords account is canceled, go to Tools & Settings > Setup > Account access and remove your own access to the account. This will remove the account from the list of accounts you have access to.

I use manual - simply because I want to be in control, especially when it's my clients money. When manual, it makes more sense to control what times, or if the advert appears over a whole day or until the money runs out. If money is not an option, go with automatic. We (web users) click impulsively and so sometimes being position 1 is not best but why would ...

Its a waste to show my already existing customers my company ads. It isn't, but we won't address using remarketing to drive referrals, reviews and upsells in in this question. To combat segmenting with remarketing, lets focus on this part of the question: My customers would regularly visit my website to access the updates about their account. Perfect, ...

Return of Investment I don't believe that using an Adwords API to adapt to downtime on your hosting is the way forward. Instead you should be adjusting your Adword budget and budgeting for reliable hosting, that in some ways is fail proof. A server with greater uptime can be a better return of an investment than a adwords since well you could lose a sale.. ...

Google AdWords is almost (or can be) a full-time job and like SEO, you might do something simple/cheap which will have impressive results but something with a greater effect/expense that is not working out at all for you. The good news for you is that it is usually far cheaper for you to bid on your own trademarks than it is for competition to do so. In my experience, you can usually bid on your own trademarks and get the top position for 1 cent or 2 cents. Yes, you absolutely can. Coupons are applied at the account level, and the promotional amount will be deducted as it is spent, independent of how many campaigns that you have. All billing happens at the account level. Campaigns, although they can have their own unique budget - share against the balance in the account, which is where the coupon is applied to....

First off, I would like to answer your question. With Google AdWords, you have 3 different keyword match types, which are 1. broad, 2. "phrase" and 2. [exact match]. When you add your keywords to your adgroup, if you aren't using "" or [] around your keywords, then you will run into this problem. Here is Google's Exmplanation: The Google AdWords system ...

Yes, custom events would solve the problem. Please, check Non-Interaction Events in order to understand that you can create events that do not affect time or bounce. In this case, I will use the following: Event on scroll (more than 50% of the site). Event on time (depends on the video. You can use setTimeOut). Event on video player (play/stop with Non-...

You have to advertise on your own branded search terms. Check Search console for the keywords people most often use to reach your site and add them to your AdWords list.

If you have only just created the list it will take some time to populate; whilst it forecasts how many people would have been added over the past 7 days, it won't add people retrospectively. Only people from this point on who match the criteria would be added. By the sounds of it your list should become active in a few days.
