Searching for acronym keywords in Google brings up full domain as first result
For years, I've had two domains (this is a ficticious example):
allbenchescatchdirt.com and abcd.com
They both do okay in terms of ranking for their keywords. However, I noticed something weird:

Searching for acronym keywords in Google brings up full domain as first result
My mistake! It looks like there was a 302 redirect on the full domain. I've now changed it to a 301, so I believe this should take care of the issue.
