The RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/(.+)$ matches all characters after the /

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/(\s+)$
RewriteRule /(.*) http://archived.example.com/$1

The above might do it, but I'm not very good with regular expressions.
