We are currently based in the UK and and have a .co.uk domain but we are now moving abroad so obviously want to change the domain.
I recently purchased a domain similar to the .co.uk one as the same .com was not available.
What I was wondering was if i create the .com with exactly the same content as the co.uk site and make the .co.uk site a forwader to the .com will this affect our google search results?
Currently our .co.uk site is placing highly and I'd like the .com to do so also, but I read somewhere that if your site has the exact same content as somewhere else it is classed a bad thing.
Sorry if this seems a bit here and there.
