I'm relatively new to web development, and I've set up a self-hosted (LAMP) WP site. After one too many configuration changes I broke the site. Apache error logs are clear as to where and when things went wrong, but I'm not sure how to correct the issue.

Any input on what the next troubleshooting steps would be?

On the first line, you have the following:

 /usr/sbin/sendmail: not found

You either don't have sendmail installed, or Apache doesn't have permissions to read it.

  • Thanks. So would a possible fix be a) providing permission to Apache, b) try to remove send mail (somehow), c) something else?

  • Yes. First check if your system has it and if not, install it. Second, check permissions for running it for the apache user. Once changed, restart your service. Commented Oct 20, 2022 at 2:28
  • another way would be to try to debug the line 154 on your /var/www/liquidmodernlife.ddns.net/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/integrations/third-party/elementor.php and understand what is it trying to accomplish, and fix it. Commented Oct 20, 2022 at 2:30
