This is a weird behaviour of the sitemap upload tool in Google Search Console. Uploading a sitemap with anything past 1000 lines doesn't get indexed. The "Discovered URLs" stops at 999.
I supposed there would be a limit but nothing I've read points to a 1000 lines limit. Is this an issue with the search console itself?
