I've attempted to index my new site but on the Coverage section for the URL inspection, I get the following issue>
Indexed, not submitted in sitemap
I'm not sure if it's due to the Sitemaps being listed as N/A or the User-declared canonical including www..
I have also setup my sitemaps. I have generated the sitemaps using a javascript package next-sitemap inside of a next.js react project.
It generates a sitemap.xml file that is an index sitemap (not 100% sure of the term?) that includes other sitemaps i.e sitemap-0.xml.
You can see in sitemap-0.xml the URL that I am indexing is included.
And in Google Search Console, these sitemaps appear to be indexed and none of the URLs in the sitemap include www.
I have my frontend deployed to Vercel
Which redirects https://www.example.com to https://example.com
Unless that has something to do with it?
Not sure if I've missed something else?
