I want to block my cpanel link i.e www.example.in/cpanel for the users who are trying to access it, but it should be accessible only for me. Is there anyway to block it. I don't know anything about it. Any help will be appreciated. I don't know this question is valid for this Stack Exchange Community.
If you are on a shared server (with no access to the server config) then I don't believe this is possible unfortunately.
I don't know exactly how cPanel implements the
/cpanel "redirect", but I imagine it's possibly an
Alias in the server config. It doesn't map to a resource within your webspace. You can't override an
Alias in the Apache
.htaccess file within your site.
Trying to "block" access to the URL
.htaccess simply has no effect.
