I will not take any information from any other sites. The only thing I want on my page is an image and some information about the movie.

You can set yourself up with ads if you want but you may want to have a backup plan if a takedown order comes through.

Like providing lyrics for music your not allowed to do without a license. Using DVD Pictures on a Movie Review would be fair use but using a trailer would not as this requires licensing and premission.. Basiclly they want revenues from ads, or license. Additionally your not allowed to scrap or copy any text from iMDB and this includes the votes unless you link back to them or mention that the votes are obtained from iMDB. IMDB take no crap when it comes to people cloning their sites or using any of the content.

Jan 30, 2013 at 19:52 | comment | added | Itai | No, it is not. You cannot use a movie poster to promote anything, not even the movie. You may be able to write a critic on the movie or something like that but that is about it. Please avoid using copyrighted material which you have no licence to, the internet is so full of such people that it gives a really bad impression of people's respect towards law.
Jan 30, 2013 at 19:46 | comment | added | Oskar Persson | "assuming you are not attempting to profit from whatever it is you are posting." What I'm going to do with the images is that I use them on the page about the product that the image is a cover/poster for. I will not make money from the images, though I will have ads on the website. Is that okay?
