(Thank you for your attention to my question. I am a novice in these matters, and I appreciate your assistance.) I don't know if it will help, but here is my current design: www.austinmohr.com/spacebook. It's infeasible to make everything accessible via links because of the large number of search options (there are on the order of 10^13 possible searches). Will handling searches via GET still improve my search engine visibility, even if I can't make the pages reachable by links?

@ionFish My question was phrased poorly. I'm interested in getting my page indexed by search engines.

"If your site is currently using a form POST to search, and the results are not accessible by their own URLs..." This is indeed what I'm doing at the moment. If I switch to GET, will all pages (i.e. all possible search requests) be indexed by search engines, or just those that happen to be accessed frequently?

It seems that the apostrophe key renders as the typographer's apostrophe in MS Word. Since I copied my data from a Word document into a .txt and then uploaded to the database, I suspect this is how the strange apostrophes got there.

You're exactly correct about the typographer's apostrophe. I went in to the field and manually typed the apostrophe from my keyboard and it resolved the issue. How it got that way in the first place is still a mystery, but I'm just happy to have it fixed. Many thanks.

@Adjam My apologies, but I'm not sure what you mean. I'm a novice at this.

Thanks for your advice. I got MathJAX up and running with MediaWiki. I also found a script for the bulk creation of MediaWiki pages that I can modify to my needs (meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Bulk_Page_Creator).
