@Marco For example, Google Analytics can't differentiate between identical folder structures under different subdomains. a.foo.com/example/ and b.foo.com/example/ would both show up as /example/ in google analytics.

Correct. Think of it as a university/academic site that also has perfomances. Two examples: a band performed this summer and last visit in 2006 was outranking us. Same goes for archiving of past classes/programs/faculty.
