Migrated website: PageRank and 404's I wasn't aware that the PageRank only took into account the number of links pointing to a page, I thought the term also comprised the other criteria used to rank the page on the search results. Are you saying that apart from 404 pages that are referenced from within our own website, serving 404 pages to Google should have no influence on the ranking of our website and its various pages on search results? |

What are the most commonly used web picture/image/icon sizes? Thanks but you seem to have focused on icons, what about pictures/images. I appreciate there may not be any standards hence the phrasing ("commonly used"). What would be great would be to find a table inventorying the various types of pictures/images (small profile picture, full size profile picture, news thumbnails...) and their corresponding sizes on the major websites (facebook, twitter, linkedin, youtube...) |
