What is Linkbaiting? When people like me come here and give our time and it is not appreciated, sooner or later we will leave. You will be left with the free advice people who get their info from questionable sources. SEO is not easy. There are clearly amateurs and professionals. Try to cultivate the professionals. |

What is Linkbaiting? @danlefree, I was quoting Aaron Wall who is the best SEO person in the world. Rather than focus on that, perhaps you should try to understand the frustration people like me have in these free sites. My business is SEO. I manage large and small website around the world. I come here to help people for free because I like helping people. I have more research website than most of the so called experts here. But they read free website blogs and get free information, and think they have all the answers. Then the hive votes on their answers making them look like an authority. The system is flawed. |

What is Linkbaiting? Its amazing how many so called experts are here. Aaron was right, the freetard system does not work very well. If the people who voted for the answer above would have read the link I posted to Eric Ward (the best link builder in the world) they would see my answer is better for their website. |

Ratio of No-follow & Do-follow Backlinks I disagree John. My research shows that no follows have some value. |

A frequently updated mixed bag blog OR several seldom updated niche sites? There are people who are successful at niches sites. Sometimes you can rank higher for a niche site like Halloween bingo cards. If that is the case, then I would separate them but if they all fit a theme that could be contained on one website, then I would build that one website. It will gain more trust and its easier to publish content to one site consistently. |

How to approach same services, multiple locations for SEO purposes? If you add good local content, and get some local links, it will help. If you are adding local content regularly, it will out rank many sites. You should be watching your stats carefully for clues. |

What SEO problems could I run into when changing CMS? The major issue today with CMS is page speed. Some of them are slow. Fast is much better. Many are still evolving. |
