Is Wordpress appropriate for building a website (not a blog)? @LazyBadger I don't follow. The WordPress Showcase isn't a theme repository, if that's what you mean: clicking the "View Site" button next to the page thumbnail brings you to a site. Or am I missing something? |

Is it possible to create a logo for your web application for Windows Phone, just like for iOS? (I don't have an emulator to test on at this workstation) but I was going to guess that it pulls the favicon. One plus is that you can use a decently-sized image for favicons, and aren't necessarily restricted to the antiquated 32x32 favicon.ico files :) |

What is an easy way for disabling a file temporary? +1 for still being visible: the server will almost certainly just push a .txt file source to the browser, which is arguably more dangerous than actually executing (depending on what the file does). |

How Many Google +1's Does a Website need in order for Google WebMaster's Tools to Show Characteristics? @Asaph, it would have to be that, otherwise even a single +1 would reasonably be reported. |

Why do non-working websites look like search indexes? +1 for mentioning .cm; notably, OpenDNS will allow you to auto-correct .cm domains to .com as they are so widely seen to be scam typo-trawling .com wannabes. |

Why do non-working websites look like search indexes? CIRA (The Canadian Internet Registration Authority, the organization that manages the .CA domain space on behalf of all Canadians) was entertaining the notion of banning this practice. |
