Should plus be encoded in mailto: hyperlinks? This is spot on. Gmail doesn't handle them correctly, but since Google ignores user bug reports there's not much you can do about it. |

Why do websites have a contact form? isn't an email address enough? Ah, that's true. That would enable an issue-tracking system rather than purely ticket numbers. |

Why do websites have a contact form? isn't an email address enough? About (3), many companies have an e-mail ticketing system and it's not particularly hard to set up. So I would hope that most companies don't avoid email for that reason :P |
