Web Pioneer and HTML/CSS expert, that mainly works with PHP. Decent knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, flash and all that usual stuff...

Considers himself to be a beginner forever, even though has experience in the field, the fact that he is self-taught shows with constant beginner questions.

Talks about himself in third person.

comment Prove to Yahoo and Bing that you are the original author
The approach of having someone copy and then trying hard to remove it is fatally flawed, first off, an author can't possible see as many articles as a search engine does, so it should be the search engine telling the author that their content is being copied, so I guess twitter and "fetch as search engine" tools will have to suffice. All in all this seems like a really poor implementation by google, bing and yahoo

comment What is 'lack of original content'?
and we also have to take plagiarism into account, so if someone copies your original content, your content won't be as original anymore

comment How can I create my authorship markup on a page that I’m going to syndicate on other sites?
I find it strange that google does not have a submit system for content authors, since google knows duplicates, it could reduce plagiarism to a bare minimum

comment Pros and cons of language-specific URL's?
I know that some users will want to be able to just swap the language in the URL and be magically redirected to the correct location in the other language

Extensive exposure to users shows us that most don't know what an address bar is and click whatever is blue or has an underline.

Just stumbeled upon this, maybe you will have more luck with http://example.com/index?something?

comment Should I use a file extension or not?
Sorry to reply so late, but I remember a while back Matt Cutts mentioning to use a .html if possible. (more here‌). It kind of makes sense that search engines are sensitive to extensions, just imagine seeing http://example.com/index.exe

Multilingual extension? That's the first time I see something like that. I remember reading that Google prefers folders like /es/subdirectory/index.html even more than subdomains http://es.example.com/subdirectory/index.html. Do you have any information on how well the .es extension is supported by search engines? Because I would love it use it. (Also could you combine them? like /index.utf16.es?)
