comment Good tool to crawl my site and help me find dead link and unlinked files
Once the crawl is complete there is a report that will tell you the information. Depending on the size of the site and number of broken links, it can be hard to parse. I usually adjust the reporting options before the crawl, and I open the report as a text file (since it is .htm) and delete the stuff that isn't pertinent to make it more manageable. Hope this helps.

comment Domain Name Squatters Targeting my Domain
You're probably right, but isn't it the case that domain name searches are not private? I've heard about cases where someone checks the availability of a domain name, then a week later someone else has bought it, even for uncommon names.

comment WMT Change of Address Question
Yeah, that's my feeling too, that the Change of Address form is just used to notify Google that you've moved the content. However, that being said, it seems like it does cause some users' issues based on the Webmaster Tools Forums. I am wary of saying this domain now lives here and somehow Googlebot thinks that the previous content should be devalued, or removed from the index, etc. I am sure that is not the case but better to be cautious....

comment Best Option for Creating A Small Church Website
This is the option I am exploring first, though @paulmorris's answer is a decent alternative as it specializes in churches specifically.

comment Best Option for Creating A Small Church Website
@Su' My point is if there is another question with options for building websites for small organizations with limited budgets and no technical staff then link to it and I'll vote to close this question. The fact that it is a church is only relevant in that it pertains to the type of organization (non-profit) and references why the organization doesn't have a lot of dough to throw around. By all means link to an alternate question that covers the same points of limited budget and staff and I will vote to close.

@Su' Please link to another CMS based on minimal information answer to make your comment constructive. Also, your link to church related content systems would make a fine answer to this question. The fact that there are CMS dedicated specifically to churches is intriguing to me, and seems to lend credence to the idea that this is actually a legitimate question. The fact is, churches and other small non-profits have specific needs in relation to budget and cost of operation / maintenance. As for the flood of WordPress answers, if it's a bad answer, vote it down.

comment Does Google Preview obey Robots.txt?
Patience is key. Several weeks out from the change, some images are now visible, while there are still missing. But this appears to have been the solution to my problem.

Good point -- nothing can completely protect your pictures but I'd really prefer not to have them in Google's index. I am not a fan of watermarking, and the most cost effective way to reduce our images elsewhere is to keep them out of the index.

I've been pleased with the CSE results, but I do think the Google's Help Forums are lacking.

@G. Qyy Or I could pay an infinite number of monkeys to scan the web for copyrighted images.

@John Mueller This looks like it is the answer. Why not post it in the answer section?

We spend considerable time and money investing in product photography and we'd prefer to keep our images out of image search as people who use image search are typically searching for an image and are not looking to buy a product. If our images were in the index it would make it easier for competitors to steal them.

comment Is there any benefit of Google Analytics asynchronous tracking code if it isn't placed in the <head>?
@pelms, that is my worry, it is implied, but no explicit alternate placing (besides the bottom where the old code is) is stated.

The instructions also say you can put the async code at the bottom of the page. Would that have any benefit over the old code?

comment If I need HTTPS / SSL encryption on my web site, does it matter who I get my certificate from?
Not sure I agree. With ecommerce sites it is common to display the logo of the SSL issuer, so I think users may be more aware of this than you give them credit for.
