comment How to make analytics refresh after certain event?
As bybe said you could track using events or tracking "virtual pageviews", without the need of refreshing the page, you need to call google analytics functions using javascript or when receiving success from ajax requests.

Maybe he could get a daily report by mail from Behavior => Site Content => All pages just for date range yesterday or a very specific date range?

Sorry about that, I was not clear enough, I meant how does your data show up in Google Analytics web interface? Is it correct over there?

@dasickle Sure, you can use GTM Link Click Listener for firing GA Events when clicking any link. The important thing is to "grab", from somewhere, data to be passed as parameters to GA Event.

comment RewriteRule to send all URLs with `mod` in them to the `moderator` directory
@Norman using RewriteRule ^mod/?(.*)/?$ /control/$1 [NC,L] will match URL's starting with mod followed by whatever, such as module, mode, moderator This htaccess tool is very helpful.

comment Why does Google Analytics show more users than sessions?
Here is Universal Analytics documentation, there is the standard snippet. The only difference I can see is the third parameter when calling create: ga('create', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-1', 'yourdomain.com'); Standard is: ga('create', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-1', 'auto'); Maybe you need to track multiple subdomains and your snippet should be: ga('create', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-1', {'cookieDomain': 'yourdomain.com'});

@Norman that's right, it only works with url's having trailing slash. Let me try something, and I'll update my answer as soon as I can.
