Hello, I am an architect from The Netherlands, or better known as "Holland". My knowledge of programming is very tiny and limited only to digital interfaces we interact with as humans or more simply as living mammals.

However, recently I have found out that skilled programming techniques not only are helpful in areas of websites, but also in game design, game interiors, realworld architecture, urbanism, flow controll of hydrolics, balloon flights... and even in designing public parks that interact with humans! The unique outcomes of such projects fascinates me daily.

Feel free to contact me for fun/brainstorms/ideas/projects.

comment New META TAGS with positive effects for seo ranking in 2011 and beyond
@Indian, you are specifically talking about original-source? or syndication-source? or both? PS where you found out that only news-generating websites should use original-source? i thought i read that any original content generation "NEW" stuff propagating site that potentially is harvested, coudl/might/should use original-source to protect its intellectual properties by the proof of being the first of that news/invention/article/story.

I even see important QUOTES from famous artists, scientists etc as heading7. imagine a page opens my h1 would be the factual page title more or less, then subtitle h2 (longer text) h3 (even longer introduction into the page) then the sections h4 etc. Now, the QUOTES on the top of the page are huge but less important than say h3, and no search engine would ever understand their meaning anyway, so to give them h3 doesnt make sense. They are big and bold and italic, but earn a h7 to my viewpoint. Also for highlighting text that is isolated and captures the eyes i use h8 and h9. Your opinion?

comment Which is best for PageRank? When multi-Aliases point to same server, with multi-language folders
+1 on both comment and answer Johnathan. Although John is right too (seems from the Wikipage) the mathematical fact remains that the NUMBER of inbound links to (any) given page rises when variations (even for language differences????) are "thrown into one heap". That does give a penalty for userfriendlyness though, Jonathan, as a Japanese user searching in Japanese text for French Kiss Tips then would expect to arrive on the Japanese version of that page, but instead he(more likely she) is directed to the original French page, from where then she needs to navigate to japanese version... hmmm

Great John. That is what i tought too on 2)! 1)=HTML4... boy is that a long time ago! probably a decade ago, and HTML5 is not even fully supported everywhere. Isn't that a bit slow in the internet age? Oh well. I geuesse im the only one in need of h7 ~ h9 to broaden the entire spectrum of importances of headings, breadcrums, sections, and above all, i miss matured tags to highlight stuff. sometimes i use <strong> sometimes <em> but i haven't known a better highlighter than just h7 ~ h9 as its semantics comes closest to a heading.

comment Adding 'Last Modification Date' to HTML pages
Yep Tim, so long as you have PHP engine running, just add this anywhere and the part between <?php ... ?> will be interpreted by the PHP engine and output nicely the result. Welcome to the Era of Dynamic ServerSide Generated Pages! (im new here too and PHP is very clever and exciting thing!)

@John, Thanks. If i understand corerctly, it means then that a pagerank is given to a UNIQUE full url ( domain + webpage ) correct? If my conclusion here is right, then it does not matter if the /fr/french_kiss_tips is sitting after a website.de or a website.fr s long as that is used consistently for always. Thus pagerank will not "spread" it will just be given to either of the two domains, since the pagerank is only for one full URL. Do i summarise this correctly?
