I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2011. I currently work for UTC Aerospace Systems in Massachusetts. My full CV is available on StackOverflow Careers and LinkedIn.
My professional interests include software project management, software engineering process, software measurements and metrics, leadership, and professionalism in software engineering. I'm also a casual student of psychology and sociology, especially as they apply to a business context. Personally, I have taken up photography as a hobby. I'm also a casual gamer.

How can I secure an installation of MediaWiki? Thanks. I think this addresses all of my concerns. Once I get the installation up and secured, if this indeed answers my questions, I'll be accepting this answer. |

How can I secure an installation of MediaWiki? It's been a while since I used MediaWiki from an administrators point of view - I'm going to be throwing it up on my server soon, but can you elaborate on the permissions that MW has built in? |

How can I secure an installation of MediaWiki? Also, let me know if this is the wrong place. I was torn between here and Web Apps, but since this is about administrating a wiki, I figure that's something more towards the domain of a webmaster. |

Does keyword density within a title tag make a difference in SEO? Was this your only change? Is the site that replaced yours already in the top? Did they change anything on their site? |

Should I support facebook login or openid login? I was unaware that was a problem - I've never experienced that. Interesting. |

Should I support facebook login or openid login? I think I got it out seconds before you did. I posted and when the page refreshed, both our posts are there. |

Should I support facebook login or openid login? About the non-Internet savvy, I'm not sure how much that applies anymore. Google, Yahoo!, AOL, Blogger, WordPress, and LiveJournal are all OpenID providers. I would assume that a lot of even the least savvy Internet users have an account with one of those services. As long as you present the log in form in an appropriate manner, they should be able to understand what is going on. |

Is A/B testing worth the added expense and time? Could you describe this application? Is it an in-house application? Is it a public facing application? How much traffic does it get? These questions, in my (limited) experience with usability testing affect the type of testing that you want to do. A/B testing is just one option, and knowing the answers to these questions will help me tell you if I think A/B testing is appropriate for your situation. |
