Having retired, I am trying to learn ASP.NET MVC3 / Razor and C# to build a website for the bowls club I belong to. I trained as a Civil Engineer back in the 60's but got more interested in programming. After 15 years, I went to work for IBM, where I stayed for 20 years. After that, I went contracting for 10 years writing VB-based programs. I then had a further 4 years as a permy before being made redundant at 67 and finally deciding to call it a day. I am interested in programming, still. I play lawn bowls and I am a birder.
