Is an animated favicon.ico a bad idea? Are there cool uses of animated favicon.ico out there? That claim is fine... this is the one "that is sure to chase away some of your visitors" that needs support. |

How would I tell if a prospective client website is under DDoS attack? This jibes with my own thoughts, but I'm ignorant enough of the space that I'm not sure what I don't know about the topic. Thanks. |

How would I tell if a prospective client website is under DDoS attack? @danlefree Thanks, yes, it looks like indeed, there's not much one can do unless one has actual access to analytical tools on the box(es) of the site itself. |

Google Webmaster Tools -> URL-Parameter after Migration from Magento If that's your concern, it seems like the way to fight that is with 302 permanent redirects for key, high PageRank pages. |

Legal standing for a copyright notice placed by prior web developer? (long backstory) @JamesRyan The principles of copyright are often similar across countries, given the number of copyright conventions multiple countries are a party to. The answer was this was in the USA. Luckily this resolved peacefully: the former web developer has made no appearance, and the client is happy, and I was happy to help the client. |
