Google analytics data is contradictory +1 Your correctness and to the point answers would sell it to me as it is, but I wanted to compliment you somewhere on your avatar as well, it's the most ingenious use of a single geometric primitive I've ever seen! |

Domain Registration and Hosting Transfer No need for any down time really. The site can be up and running on both sides, waiting for the DNS records to update and point users to the new location. The only real problem is transferring any database changes since the initial transfer and up until DNS changes propagate. The rest is pretty seamless and transparent to the end user. |

Bingbot request for trafficbasedsspsitemap.xml which does not exist "You shouldn't see this kind of discovery request very often". We shouldn't see it at all. Full stop. It's my first blocking Bing requests, but I blocked all IPs associated with these requests and created a UA based filter. It falls well within the URL scanner running wild category. Scanning for sitemaps (or any other contents for the matter) should be subscription based and on webmaster's requests, and certainly not wildly assuming we're using one of your solutions just because you've written it (poorly, it doesn't even handle redirects). Block remains. |

Is charging for a free domain transfer justified? @MarcinWolny - Thanks for correcting my formatting! I used quote format as it's quoted from the question, but you're right it looks clearer now than it used to. Cheers! |

Is charging for a free domain transfer justified? @danielhanly.com - With SE ranking so high up in search engines, opinions here are highly influential. Just saying... ;) |

How do I do this? I'm not really sure what's being asked here. Are you looking to implement Facebook OAUTH in a third-party website as a developer, or are you asking how Facebook OAUTH works from the perspective of an end user of third-party websites already implementing it? |

why did Wordpress put the word “dot” in my account name. Guys at WordPress Support Forum will be able to help you out with that better than we could. All we can do is to speculate on possible reasons behind it, what you need is clear answers and someone with ability to change your WordPress configuration. I've seen really similar questions to yours solved and closed there. Cheers! ;) |

Best location for a websites CMS @Lèsemajesté - I never said there's any security benefits to using subdomains, and the OP also didn't mention SSL so I didn't consider it in my answer. If my answer is written awkwardly then please tell me so and where you feel it needs corrections or further explanation. But please refrain from commenting, if you haven't bothered to read all of it in the first place. Thanks! |
