What effect if any does “Google Instant” search have on SEO and SEM? right, but my point steps around the issue of impressions altogether to suggest that someone buying a link for the keyword "toy story" is paying several times more per click than someone buying a link for the keyword "toy story action figure." |

Are there security risks involved in moving from a CMS that uses SQL to one that uses XML? Thanks! You're definitely right about the speed issue, but I'm using it for smallish sites anyhow. My math was that the risk of injections + XSS (traditional CMS) was greater than risk of XSS (XML CMS). |

What effect if any does “Google Instant” search have on SEO and SEM? I think John is right on this. And as for Google's self interest, just look at the cost per click difference between a 1, 2 or 3 word string and a longer one. They're going to make a lot more money on ads now, no? |

But if the site was only indexed slightly longer than 6 months ago and there are other sub pages with a PR of 6, then we can safely assume that while we're not in real time there is probably something going on with regard to the homepage, no? |
