Programming and IT for the office, which includes development of our sites and client sites, as well as the upkeep of ours. Mostly I write PHP but I've put together a few OpenOffice macros working as well. I keep our office network operating and deal with other general hardware issues.
I've been working with WordPress since about 1.5 or so, but building commercially since only about 2.9.

Will get good traffic from Google if I pull content via RSS feeds? Click through those results. Most of them are not carbon copies of a single article. They are headline only links or short excerpts that point back to (looks like) a Boston Globe article, which is top of the list. They seem to be doing what people here are telling you to do. Search for something deeper in the article like "Biden’s service was attended by his family, top administration officials, and several longtime aides." and you will see that there is really only one source for this. |

Clients requesting garbled URLs For what its worth, I've seen similarly garbled URLs. I don't have a solid answer but in my case, where I have been able to track it down, it has always been associated with what look like automatically generated "related posts from the web" links. |

Deleted files still accessible without www in url I get a 404 on both URLs. I'd guess that your files had to have been loading from a server cache. |

Why are perfectly legitimate pages on my website registering in Google Webmasters as 404? I don't get a 404 on those pages with or without the slash, nor do I get a redirect loop. Can you describe in more detail how to reproduce this? |

Is there a (free) reliable place to get statistics from sites, more reliable than Alexa, Quantcast, Compete? +1 for "Alexa and similar sites are the best you can do (and they just aren't very good)". |
