Are images with non-standard extensions (such as “.ashx”, instead of “.png” or “.jpg”) bad for SEO? Not sure what you're trying to say with the 1st part, perhaps you misunderstood? Anyway, the latter part of the image's filename is carnival%20cruise%20homepage%20img.ashx, and if you try an image like this, this or this and download it — it'll still be .ashx |

Are images with non-standard extensions (such as “.ashx”, instead of “.png” or “.jpg”) bad for SEO? Actually, modern browsers render .ashx files as images without any problems (see image from Sitecore's official site) |

SEO and HTML semantics of putting H2 above H1 elements? Very interesting, I hadn't heard that hgroup was dropped — I think it was a useful element. In the case of the "tagline" being a heading for everything that follows: isn't that kind of the case on websites, semantically speaking? Everything should relate to the original mission statement |

Things to consider while picking domain name? As I said, what is your source that longer ones are more easily forgettable? Your reply is besides the point, there are countless considerations when picking a domain name; even the original question asked about that: "is there any other thing to consider while picking domain name other than using company name ... ?" |
