comment Best way to display a long list of items, SEO-wise?
You can have all those subcategories on the main page and just change the view based on the users selection (still getting these rankings). Unless you're looking at really long tail keywords it's hard to get traction for mostly duplicate content, that falls deep in the site navigation and has little or no inbound links from external sources.

comment Knowing your online Competition how to reveal 301’s directing domains
I don't know about ahrefs but I am pretty sure majesticSEO has their own crawler and doesn't rely on Google for their index.

comment Website I control is only unavailable on company internet connection (403 error) - workaround?
Yes changing the host file on the individual PCs is not a good long term solution, I suggested it because it is a quick solution so the users could see the site while you found out what the real issue was. It sounds like there is an internal DNS issue and the network admin needs to update the DNS info for the network. (Ideally they would just accept the standard DNS rather then try and duplicate it locally though).

Digging through some reports in MajesticSEO it looks like their site explorer tool has redirects split out in their backlinks section. May give you what you need.

comment Order of content on a Page=all page
I agree wholeheartedly that there is no need for a Google specific page. I'd add that Google frowns on Googlebot specific pages, and while you're not guaranteed to get penalized for it, you should avoid it if at all possible.

A few questions to help clarify. 1. Is the page a product specific page or a non-commerce page that you think might have an influence on commerce pages? 2. Do you have access to other data such as sales or how many widgets have been sold? (You might be able to get it from the website itself).

comment Doing affiliate program with shops who don't have a program already set up
It sounds from your comments below that the items you are promoting are downloadable, is this the case? If they are physical products you could have the entire transaction take place on your site and have your partners drop ship the items.

You can also setup Ecommerce tracking which will give you revenue generated, rather then just goal completions.

comment Google Webmaster Tools - Search results are creating subdomained sites that don't exist
I agree with DisgruntledGoat, it should do the trick and you should lock in the URLs so it doesn't happen in the future. You may be able to speed up the process of getting the URLs removed by requesting it through your webmaster tools dashboard (I haven't used it myself so I don't know how effective it is, but I figure it's not likely to slow the process down).
