How do I go about assigning my computer to my domain name? Good point! Unless they all just use hosts files. |

MySQL vs. SQL Server GoDaddy, What is the difference between hosted DB and App_Data Db Have you talked to a GoDaddy customer service rep? That seems like the best place to ask this question. |

CMS or web-framework? - When to use which? Just so you know, you should award the "best answer" to the actual best answer. This one isn't even readable. |

How do I add domains to certificate You can't really be your own certificate authority, but you can self sign a certificate. That will work for the purposes you seem to want. Link added to the answer. |

How do I add domains to certificate You have to get a certificate issued by a certificate authority. Your hosting provider should have information on this. |

How do I add domains to certificate The same way you generated the first one. Each domain you want a certificate for will need a unique IP address. |

Which social sign-in (Google, twitter, fb, etc) is most often used (if I could only choose one, which would statistically retain the most users)? I agree with both Martin and Anagio. I've also found that users tend to sign up for a site-specific login, as I do myself (I don't want things tied to my Facebook). And keeping the registration as simple as possible but getting extra information later always helps as well. You should probably focus on getting the site live with your own login first, and then roll out the social connections later. |
