comment Requests from an IP resolving to googlebot for nonsense directories and a CSS or JS file, is it a hacking attempt?
@closetnoc Could the requests be spoofed to look like coming from googlebot? My theory is someone wants me to "accidentally" block traffic from these IPs to harm the site SEO wise (because I block a lot of patterns and these vary, someone is really determined as it looks).

To increase load and traffic, for example?

comment 80% of Website Traffic coming from Just one Town in USA - Strange?
You can filter out the requests or create a custom segment. The filter is good if the location (here: Beverley Hills) does not change very often. Google for "google analytics filter" to find some tuts.

comment Asynchronous page loading and SEO
Cookie/subdomain: You can change this behaviour by setting the domain value of the cookie appropriately. 2M Pages: Ok, without further details, I would let it cache-on-demand. This way you don't waste time and space for not-requested pages.

The idea behind the different domain is that cookies won't (and don't need to) be sent to it, saving some bytes and time. When computation of the content is heavy think about this: Whenever your content is ready to go live, pre-create the cache, e.g. by triggering an HTML request yourself (via AJAX or a wget-call or smth. else). So even the first "human" request from a visitor will then receive the already computated cached file.

comment Length of Page Title, URL, Meta Description and total number of links on a page
The length recommendation is around your mentioned number and based on experience with Google, Bing and others. AFAIK there's no offical hard number. seomoz.org/learn-seo/meta-description. One thing to add (Matt Cutts): youtube.com/watch?v=RBTBEfd7z_Y - a good description can boost conversion.
