comment Where do I set my SPF record for domain managed by Yahoo?
It's going to be where ever the DNS servers are located. I have the same options in my NameCheap control panel when it's not being hosted anywhere (adding the records to the domain) but once I have the site hosted somewhere, I have to use the DNS servers for that location. That, is where you need to work on this, not at Yahoo control panel, becuase your site isn't there. Go to your Amazon one, if you can't find anything, submit a ticket. If you'd like, submit a ticket to Yahoo as well, this will get their process of taking forever to respond to you going :)

comment What constitutes a “substantial, good-faith effort to remove the links”
Honestly, if 2/3 have been removed and the remaining third are being automatically 301'd away, and Google is still saying it's not, you really should ask them why they deem it not to be and what more you can do to satisfy their requirement. Because in my opinion that is a good faith effort :)

Google may not even have crawled the site yet, let alone placed it in the index. I'd say give it another week at least.

comment Troubleshoot connectivity to certain site
Run this command: tracert domain.com >> C:\traceroute.txt and then paste the text from that, at least hop 15, so we can see. We don't need most of the hops before that. But likely if you're taking that many hops you're quite far away from the datacenter and they're loosing your packets. You could contact your ISP to see if they can route you around that provider.

I wouldn't consider it a substantial good faith effort until you have contacted > 50% of the websites. But that's my personal opinion. Google may have a set of guidelines that are very strict that the people you've been in contact with have to follow, or they may be very loose and subject to interpretation. In either case, have you actually asked them what they would consider a substantial good faith effort? Edit: Type :(

comment What do I do if a user uploads child pornography?
It depends. If you're reporting the crime knowing that it's not a crime, it is illegal, if you're reporting the crime because you believe a crime actually happened, you're ok.

Selling adspace to those companies may not be the best idea. But yes Jack, we're talking about affiliate links, such as to Amazon, or such.

comment Are there specific legal issues for web developers working on sex dating sites?
Then you would need to consult the different laws for the area you're in. Such as record keeping for nude models, access control for under 18, etc. as you would then be responsible.

Have that logo on the kayaking site. Its best to keep everything separate.

I would recommend removing it. In my personal opinion a sponsorship is used as advertising for a company. Many companies will promote things that they sponsor on their site if it is something that will benefit their image to potential clients, or if it's something that has to do with their company values. Edit: In my opinion, unless you're designing sites specifically for sporting teams/groups/events it's not relevant to the business. In general you want the kayaking to be driving traffic to your business, not the other way around...people may forget why they were there in the first place.

lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+make+money+from+a+website There are literally hundreds of ways of making money. A simple Google search goes a long way. At least show that you've made some effort at this. You didn't even tell us relevant details about your website. I.E. is it a blog? a forum? etc.? What's the content about? are there areas where users must login to see?
