comment Who has experienced using Textile to generate their HTML pages?
I see. I thought there's an app/library of some sort that can generate an HTML file for my Textile markup.

I'm just quite intrigued about the difference if you just chose one company as both your host and domain provider. Why do you say less flexibility if I choose to to both (host & domain) on one company? I'm just the inquisitive type.

Do you think I should go with both hosting and domain on the same company or should I go with one for hosting and different for the domain register? I'm considering the latter as I think I can save on it (or I maybe wrong again on this).

Check if they charge for domain transfer, noted. For 6-7 domains that for $20 each? Isn't that too much? GoDaddy is between 12-14 dollars if I'm not mistaken. Namecheap.com is even lesser. I'll try to search for more.

How about the structure of the stackexchange website? It's obvious that it's on a "sub-domain" style right?

The reason why I'm considering on using sub-domains is that maybe, just maybe, I can use different themes on them. I'll be using Wordpress, so if I choose on using sub-directories, can I still choose a different theme compared to the theme in the index/main site? I'll be using different themes for different categories of my interests. It's just the themes that bother me as I have no know-how of Wordpress yet.

Do you think by going to the "sub-directories" route, I might also be able to save cost? Since, it's just one domain and the other interests are considered as sub-directories on that domain only. If I go to the "sub-domain" route, therefore I might have to pay for each sub-domain. Is that right?
