comment What would happen to my domains if my domain provider company bankrupted
@tugberk I had domains with RegisterFly at the time they went under. My service was never interrupted and was successfully transferred to GoDaddy. (Though I'd gone to RegisterFly to get away from GoDaddy, but that's another story...)

comment Choosing which domain to secure
Depending on who you buy your certificate from, they may give you the naked domain as a subject alternate name for free. So if you buy www.example.com you may get a certificate that covers both www.example.com and example.com.

comment Should I include “www” in my canonical URLs? What are the pros and cons?
This answer is becoming obsolete now that RFC 6265 is more widely implemented. (It did not exist at the time this answer was written, though.)

comment Should I include “www” in my canonical URLs? What are the pros and cons?
You can't do this because Blogger hosting on a custom domain is done using a CNAME to ghs.google.com, and the naked domain can't be a CNAME.

comment Should I depaginate my webpages? What is the best usability?
Related to this, you can put the entire text on a single page, and then use Javascript to paginate it, e.g. jQuery pagination. Search engines and users both win! More info can be found on Stack Overflow or Google.

comment What is the safest way to search for domain names availability?
Using the whois command, I have never had a domain name swiped from me in this manner. So this works.

This looks like a question for our sister site Webmasters.

comment Google bots are severely affecting site performance
30 seconds? 86400 / 30 is 2880, the maximum number of pages a bot could crawl in a day if it obeys that directive. It could work, but you're probably going to end up with a lot of un-indexed pages. And there's more than one bot out there, so it doesn't solve the underlying performance problem.
