I am IT Director for Wycliffe Bible Translators UK. I'm also Business Systems Manager, looking after donor management (Raiser's Edge), finance (Sage 200) and personnel (in-house bespoke system). I also have dealings with some of our websites and web-based systems.

comment Google Analytics - Showing multiple site stats at once
Yes, that's the tricky part of the process. Telling google to use two domains is straightforward, what you don't want is to count clicks between the domains as if they were exiting the site.

comment Are the different types of SSL certificates a bit of a scam?
Also, for certain types of certificate the issuing company puts more effort into verifying the details of the person/company requesting it (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_Validation_Certificate). If the browser shows that a certificate is EV and the user notices it they may have more confidence. IMHO they won't notice.

comment Thousands of 404 errors in Google Webmaster Tools
It depends how you fixed it. If you remove a link to a non-existent page from another page, then that's one way of fixing it. The other way is to make sure there is a page at that particular URL.

It doesn't say that, but by marking it as fixed it should disappear from the index eventually.

comment How do webmasters store and keep track of their passwords
Welcome to Webmasters! You've got three questions there. One is off topic for this site, and is also "not constructive" as there are lots of utilities which will store passwords for you, so there is no specific answer, which is what this site is about. The second and third ones are best asked on security.stackexchange.com (if they aren't answered already). So I'm closing the whole thing as off-topic.

comment Over 400 old 404 errors, safe to remove?
I'm flagging this as a duplicate of another question. The question was asked a while ago and a couple of the answers are out of date as you can now get rid of errors (after the underlying problem has been fixed), as I say in my answer on that question!
