Connecting to my new server For the other problem, if your IP is rejected due to the use of cPHulk for Brute Force Protection, then type the following line into your browser's address bar: example.com:2087/scripts2/doautofixer?autofix=disable_cphulkd by replacing example.com by your cPanel domain or IP. Otherwise, I you can contact the hosting service. |

Connecting to my new server In order to connect externally to your cPanel database from your 10-20 other machines you'll need to enable remote MySQL access to your database. So login to your cPanel and under Databases go to Remote MySQL. Enter your 10-20 machines static IPs by clicking Add Host for each of them. Then the access to you cPanel database is granted for all your 10-20 machines. Otherwise you can grant remote access from any IP by entering % as the host and click on Add Host. |

Connecting to my new server Yes, you have to first authorize your home machine IP and then write the shared IP in your program to access the remote database. |
