A relativ noob in web programming and web design. Quite proficient in Photoshop, enough to actually give advice. Can do very basic things in PHP and Cakephp, fairly decent web design skills. Knows terribly basic Javascript. Can follow directions for installing JQuery features. Understands the box model and is therefore salivating over the adoption of flexbox by all browsers. Hates IE. Loves sudoku.

Can you show me proof as to your statement that under 20% text content is not good, specifically in regards to Google and other search engines?

Yeah you're right about that! So no web server, no PHP. Hmm....well, I found this tutorial on building a twitter feed in flash from 2009: active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/actionscript/…. I googled 'serve twitter feed in flash'. Maybe that'll help get you going.

comment Adding meta tag keywords - the same or different on all pages?
I concur with what @foamcow says. Make sure that the keyword/phrase that page is about is well represented in your headings, links and a little bit spread about in your body copy, but really, Google rewards relevant CONTENT, not jazzed up meta tags. To reiterate what he just told you: Write for your users, NOT for Google.

@Joseph, don't start panicking unless it has been well over a week. I gave it two weeks to be on the safe side.

The only duplication in this case is the restaurant name address and phone number in the footer of each page. Just wondering if I should tag these on every page or just the index page where I've given even more detailed info about the business.

comment Google Search not displaying results from sub-pages
Your content was posted a week ago. Seriously, you need to give it a while longer to see all of your pages indexed in Google (and some deep links just might not for a long while). Bing can sometimes take MONTHS to process all your pages (if they index them all). What you need to focus on is building great, keyword rich content and invite people to link to that content. Submit a sitemap to google, get your name out there, set up Facebook and Twitter, etc. If you haven't gotten anything else indexed in 30 days, then start worrying about why.

Well, it is certainly possible you tripped a spam alert and are being blacklisted as a spammer as a result (however that doesn't explain only your deep links not being picked up). You might try contacting your hosting provider to see if your IP is blacklisted. If you are using a shared hosting account, more than likely the whole IP is blacklisted somewhere (as spammers are on a LOT of shared IP addresses). I gotta ask, tho, how old is this website of yours? Age of your site is a definite factor in how deep spiders crawl your links.

comment Pros and Cons of Buying Common Website Mispellings
@Christopher, I guess people might get confused but if he made a big deal out of the correct spelling at the top that might mitigate any confusion (and ppl might look back up at the url to see that they've been redirected to the correctly spelled website?)
