comment www A record will not update to non-www A record?
Indeed, it definitely shouldn't take more than a couple of days. At this point we'd probably need to know your domain name to investigate further.

comment How to tell search engines to not index entire image domain without making them waste server bandwidth or making google complain
Just read your other related question. Personally I would just put the robots.txt back in, but use the proper Disallow: / syntax (not noindex). Make sure you're not linking to the root of the image domain anywhere, if that's what the error in webmaster tools was complaining about. If that error persists, allow Google to crawl the root of the domain but not images (i.e. do Disallow: /images or similar depending on what your URLs look like).

How long ago did you make the change?

Why can't you just add a robots.txt to the root of the image domain if you don't want anything on it indexed?

comment requesting for downloadable files via HEAD
The accepted answer there quite clearly indicates that the content length header should be present for responses to HEAD requests. One of the uses for HEADs is to allow useragents to see the size of a resource to see whether they want to download it.

comment Is robots.txt preventing indexing of this site?
Have you tried using the Google 'fetch URL' tool that is mentioned in the question you linked to? That would give you a definitive answer.

comment Wordpress DataBase Local Content different from Remote Content
You don't have to use screenshots to describe the differences - textual description would help. Is the text on the production site different? The layout? Are images or pages missing? We are much less likely to spot minor differences when comparing your site visually to a screenshot than you are.

comment Wordpress DataBase Local Content different from Remote Content
Perhaps you could give some examples of how your production site is different to your local, this isn't obvious from the partial screenshot you included. Also, posting a full SQL dump of your database to a public forum is not a good idea, since this contains hashed passwords for your users.

comment Best practice how to specifiy the link's destination
There is a third option, absolute paths, e.g. <a href="/contact.php">Contact</a>. IMO this is the best choice in basically all cases.

comment Does each and every subdomain require its own SSL certificate?
www.example.com/sub1 and www.example.com/sub2 are not different subdomains (as suggested by your question's title). If you are actually running your apps on different subdomains (sub1.example.com, sub2.example.com) the answer is a little different.

comment Confused about missing width and/or height attributes
Them not being required is not a good reason not to include them, for the reasons given in both answers below.
