comment Does each and every subdomain require its own ssl certificate?
www.example.com/sub1 and www.example.com/sub2 are not different subdomains (as suggested by your question's title). If you are actually running your apps on different subdomains (sub1.example.com, sub2.example.com) the answer is a little different.

comment Confused about missing width and/or height attributes
Them not being required is not a good reason not to include them, for the reasons given in both answers below.

No, the browser is smart enough to know that if dimensions in the <img> tag match the dimensions of the image file, no "resizing" is needed and it can be rendered as-is. It only needs to render it at a different size if the dimensions are different (which should basically never happen).

comment Confused about missing width and/or height attributes
The values for width and height attributes should match the dimensions of the image.

comment How to trace origin of script injected in my webpage
It sounds more likely that this script is being added by some malware maliciously installed in your browser. Do you see the same script in the source code of other websites? Are you able to test your site using another web browser (ideally from another machine)? If you're on Windows you might want to run a full scan with Windows Defender.

comment Link re-interpreted by browser does not work
The browser is not changing the URL, a script on your site is doing that. If you disable javascript and load your page, the URL does not change. Hopefully that will at least point you in the right direction.

comment Can I manipulate the DNS protocol to host websites across multiple servers?
It's hard to answer this without recommending companies, but commercial services exist that do exactly this - I wouldn't call it a manipulation.

comment Legal Issues of loading Google Analytics script (ga.js) from local server to avoid leverage browser catching issue
It's worth mentioning that despite it's short cache time, Google Analytics is so widely used that there's a decent chance visitors to your site will already have the file cached. Personally I'd just leave it as it is.

Are you sure it wasn't just a typo in the SEO report?

comment Image max-age / cache-control not being set
I'm not sure why this answer has been downvoted, since you can clearly see different behaviour in Chrome when you click refresh (without Ctrl) vs. returning to a page via. navigation. I also provided a third party source to show that the cache-control headers on the OP's site were working correctly.

Webpage test shows a similar result: webpagetest.org/result/150529_KV_M3J - note the lack of image downloads in the repeat view.

Works okay for me, I've added a screenshot to my answer. This is after loading your homepage, clicking the 'Company' link, and then clicking the 'Home' link again. Note all the '(from cache)' lines.
