@sam - Additionally, it would not be in a host's best interest to allow people to override this, since it could be used to run PHP shells on their servers, and jeopardize the security of others' websites. As far as I know, I don't believe you can change/override this setting using .htaccess files. This would defeat the entire purpose of the setting.

Correct, but I'm saying, WordPress (I think, because so does MyBB) issues a cookie from the domain it is installed on. Which, to fix, would require a lot of work. I do not believe they actually will be issued a cookie to the domain of ACCESS rather than the domain the site was configured for. In which case, one of the two would fail without modifications.
