With GIT, is it necessary to deploy with SSH? Is FTP okay? Yup, Support confirms that there is no SSH access. So avoid iWeb.com if you want SSH and Shared Hosting :\ |

I spoke directly to their support (hmm...maybe it was sales) folks and they said this: "Thank you for your patience , Mr Jeff . No, there is no way to use ssh in shared hosting, and in case it is mandatory you will need to contract a dedicated server" So yeah... I'll dig a little deeper and see if this wasn't just some sales BS. |
