    site.com/?q=query will work for all search engines and users and that's what they'll use in the search results. After someone clicks on a search result you can then use JavaScript to redirect them to the ajax version of your site so they get the better user experience.

    As long as you can get to the content without the javascript you're in great shape. Both is ideal as it means everyone can get to your content and most people will get the enhanced version since most people will have javascript enabled.

    Domain authority it not a major ranking factor. Plus web pages are ranked on their own merits. "Domain authority" would only be used to weed out spam ,not determine page quality.

    If you're worried about data transmission being secure, use SSL. If you're worried about storing passwords, use the advice in my answer. FYI, cross-site attacks are your problem, not your users'.

    Don't depend on JavaScript for security. Bypassing it is as easy as turning it off or viewing the source code to see how's it's done.
