comment Any mobile-friendly Credit Card billing solutions for mobile sites similar to Bango?
Braintree is limited to just the US, Canada, and EU and even then it puts limits on the type of sites it accepts, so it's unfortunately not a valid alternative to Bango.

Ilmari, you've been a huge help and saved me tons of work. You are a gentleman and a scholar. I thank you, good Sir!

Ilmari, that is brilliant, thank you. But it almost sounds "too easy", "too good to be true"...what's the catch? Any downsides? In fact, does it even make sense for me to be storing my user's images in this way, or would it make more sense to switch to the DB method with random file names?

Very, very, interesting. So I could presumably fetch the "last modified" property of the files, and just make that the query value, correct?

Also interesting, but how would I keep track of when the file was last modified vs. when the browser first viewed in, in order to determine when I should tell the user's browser to fetch it again (e.g. by changing the query value)?

Interesting, but is this a "band aid" solution to a problematic file schema, or is my file schema good and just needs this caching ability? Also, how would I know when the file was last modified vs. when the browser first viewed in, in order to determine when I should tell the user's browser to fetch it again?

Thanks, but how would I send them a text message? Preferably for free?

OK, because basically, I'm finding that using any existing forum platform will force me to alter their core files anyway, so I'm leaning towards building one from scratch (there are even tutorials on how to do that which should save me time). So, are there any really bad downsides I'm not considering that should keep me from doing one from scratch? Or should I maybe get an existing platform and simply dissect it for my own needs? Thanks again.
