comment WAMPServer 404s a directory URL unless it ends with a trailing slash
Hi w3d, dan - sorry, I neglected to mention that it's an alias. N00b error (I've updated the question for clarification). I had a look in httpd.conf for DirectorySlash but there was no mention of it at all, anyway. Fortunately, the blog post which dan links to provides an answer - "open the alias file in Notepad. Remove the trailing slash from the relative URL... you’re alias should now work with or without the trailing slash". I can confirm that it works!

comment How can I make a webmail URL available from any hosted domain?
Annoyingly, I've had problems with Cloudflare, so I haven't been able to set any additional domains to try this out! Hopefully they'll iron out shortly and I'll pop back with the outcome of trying out what you mention.

Excellent - I think I'll give the second option a shot. Thanks!

Thanks - so whereabouts do I put that line? Does it go in the httpd.conf file? Is there not a way to do it automatically, so there's no need to insert the line manually for each new virtual server? And yes - quite like Roundcube! Better than Squirrelmail, anyway.

comment Long pages or accordion for content?
On the SEO aspect I'm not overly fussed, given that search engines will see the content stripped of its formatting. With regard to accessibility, unless I'm using an accordion that doesn't render tabs alternatively, there shouldn't be a problem, should there? IE, it renders the same way that a search engine sees the page, sans JavaScript. I'll update my question to clarify what I'm asking.
