comment Why can't Google handle rich snippets events with dates before 1970
Thanks, I've reported it to Google now. I fixed the missing closing div tag, any other errors there? My example is similar to how I have it on my site.

@Emilio Gort, Ah, I didn't notice that tab, indeed it works fine there, only not in the normal "search results of Google" tab. That's strange.

@Emilio Gort, worked fine? Did you go to this page, click the HTML tab, paste it in and hit the Example button? For me it generates an error and does not show the date in the snippet.

comment Will switching from home grown news page to a Facebook feed hurt SEO?
That's correct, but posting the headings as facebook posts with a link to the full post on your own site might help for SEO, just like twitter etc... spread some links to your site.

comment Why does BingBot add “ForceRecrawl: 0” to URLs when crawling my sites?
No, blocking bots would block the site from being found in search engines.

comment Why is BingBot causing so many 404 errors by removing letters from url's?
Nope, it did stop after a while though, but they are still crawling content that has been redirected with a 301 permanent redirect to the new location for over 2 years now. I'm wondering how long I'll have to keep those redirects in place (sigh). Googlebot never crawls these any more. I'm still seeing strange BingBot or MSNbot quirks once in a while.
