How to get out of google penalty for spammy links linking to my site? As always, I recommend testing things out for yourself as I mentioned above. I've ran tests on this and discussed this issue with people I trust. At first and like you, I was telling them that incoming links won't get a site algorithmically penalized. But, when I started investigating and testing it, sadly, I found that this wasn't true anymore. |

Can .gov (or similar official) websites be used for partisanship? This seems like a question for a lawyer who knows the ends and outs of election laws on the federal and state level. Speaking from personal observations, incumbants often use government paid newsletters, websites and even bus tours to subtly promote their reelection efforts but it can raise ethical questions from the press and opponents. |

Responsive website VS mobile website Some fluid designs do limit width but a lot don't. It's something that gets overlooked and causes ugly results on some reasonably common monitor setups. Pinch-zoom is a big thing for tablet users and it not working right one of the most common UX complaints about sites I hear from my wife who's a big tablet and smartphone user. |

Can I legally use a competitor's business name on my site to compare products? It's either lawyer time or roll over time. It's a lot cheaper to roll over than to use a lawyer, even if you ultimately prevail. |

How can I prevent users from creating multiple accounts? True, even if they do create a second account the site owner gets paid, twice. This won't work in every situation but it's a great way to cut down on spammers and trolls if you can do it. |

Link Building is Still a factor for getting rank in google? It's a matter of degree of the relevance of the stuffing. The previous technique wasn't to stuff the same keyword combos over and over again as in circa 1999 stuffing but to stuff with semantically relevant phrases. For example, taking everything a Adwords keyword search listing and putting it in a post. Panda blunted this somewhat. This is a part of how they're judging content quality now although they're happy to misdirect people into thinking they have a "I'll be back" level of AI. |

Link Building is Still a factor for getting rank in google? My point was that it became more refined and widespread with the Panda update. Previously, some types of keyword stuffing, particularly related term stuffing, worked and was a common tactic used by certain pharma product spammers and others. But that doesn't work as well now. |
