Linode is not a managed service. This means you have to set everything up from a-z. They have a good range of stack scripts to setup your server. Then you'll need to add your domain using the DNS manager of the linode manager page. Then you'll probably need to manually configure your server's config files to add your domain. It's a bit of a process if ...
If you're not using anything that uses Frontpage extensions, then yes you can get rid of them. Firstly, turn off Frontpage extensions on the web server. Then in Frontpage under Tools > Page Options > Authoring select "None". Then you can delete all the Frontpage folders that start with a _.
Since Google really likes fresh content, I don't think it will be a disadvantage to update your content: Google will crawl it and display a more fresh date next to your result in its search page People coming to your tutorial from Google won't come back on Google because your tutorial is up to date One thing you shouldn't do is update the url according ...
There is no single language or database model that modern ad networks are built on; there are so many of them and they vary greatly. But you could build your own ad network using an existing ad server, then create your own system if things take off for you. If you simply want them to be available, then for right now just use whatever's easiest, like uploading the .doc files, ideally with an in-page abstract so people know what they're getting. You can always go back and change this later. This will get you a site as soon as possible, with minimum effort if ...

The answer to the question/doubt is just a matter of remembering the right position for each thing. The post is a unit of content and the home page is a "bucket" that gets filled with content units. The content of the post itself will be, most probably, on a database or file, which means that is not coded on to the home page itself, so the post should have ...
After many hours of research I found nothing wrong with my code and had several guys look at it. I decided to delete the site at the server, recreate it, and re-deploy my files into a fresh site. And it worked! My apologies for the troubles. It seems Azure had some problems to begin with. Looks like I will be leaving them soon. Thanks for your time

The answer to the linked question below includes the edit to make this change to your VS. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13468852/using-msdeploy-web-deploy-as-publish-method-in-visual-studio-with-multiple-users
No. There is no way to stop the Frontpage program from creating those folders. They are integral in how Frontpage works. Suggestions: upgrade your computer - Frontpage is an ancient program that should fly on any machine built in the past 4 years. Get rid of Frontpage. I honestly didn't know anyone has used it since Expression Web came out.
