I'm not sure if Facebook provides this for you but they do provide some tools so that you could build it for yourself. Take a look at the FB.Event.Subscribe method in their JavaScript SDK. Using that you could subscribe to Like and Comment and record the info off on your own dashboard. Not an easy solution, but it could get the job done.

With a bit of more creative searching I've found Rateback, a free service from Citricle. Powerreviews also has its own Customer Reviews service, although it's not free and more focused as a service for large enterprises. Lastly I've also stumbled upon an opensource review script that can be used to set up a complete reviewing site.

Is there a plugin for FireFox that will allow me to view a website as if I was looking at it in IE 6? Unfortunately not, however there are a great number of on-line services that you can use for testing, or you could also install a stand-alone version of IE6 for testing on your own PC. On-line renderers: http://netrenderer.com/ http://browsershots.org/ ...

Most shared hosting providers have a control panel. Most control panels allow you to change file permissions through some sort of file manager. Windows uses a different way of doing permissions to Unix servers, so you may need to give read/write permission to a user called IUSR_machinename for Wordpress to work properly. For Plesk it's: Websites & ...

Backgrounds are meant to be backgrounds. They're not meant to support interaction. Your options would seem to be: 1. Do it in HTML rather than CSS. 2. Have your server return different content according to the User-Agent string. 3. If your SVG is rectangular and opaque, you can do fallbacks as background-image: url(fallback.png); background-image: none, ...

Fix it ! If you have the ability and the need to fix it, share the fixes with the world. or if someone else is making money off a really badly written plugin (and thus probably will make money off your fixes if you were to tell them), write a replacement, write something better. other than that there isn't much you can do about it, except for telling the ...

Yoast discusses why this setting exists on his site. If your archive pages have any kind of static content or introduction, you run the risk of that content getting indexed on the second and subsequent pages of your archive and a dupe penalty applied. If you don't have that intro text, users get dumped into your older posts and may not have any real idea ...

"open_basedir restriction in effect" means your web host is overly paranoid with security. Find a new web host, and one with php5, too. And 777 permissions are dangerous. WP never needs more than 755. If you need 777 permissions at that host to do anything, that's another reason to find another host. And http://wordpress.stackexchange.com is a better place ...

Use a 301 redirect. Place this in your .htaccess file of the old URL: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www\.)?suportrecerca\.barcelonamedia\.org/blog/$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://blog.joanmarcriera.es/$1 [R=301,L] This will tell Google, and browsers and other search engines, that your site has moved locations. The Social RSS application takes an RSS feed and every time something appears in that feed then it posts to your page. So if you can get an RSS feed from your news then that will do what you want. That error is presented by WordPress when a plugin is missing some standard information that identifies it, what it does, etc. But that's not the problem here. From the fact you got that error, it seems you tried to install the archive as a regular WP plugin, but it's not a plugin at all. It's a module for WP-Ecommerce and has an entirely different ...

A few possible solutions: Use a 301 redirect to redirect all traffic from /en to the proper directory as John mentioned. Use robots.txt to block the /en folder. This will keep Google from indexing that folder and hopefully get rid of the duplicate content issues you face. Use Google Webmaster Tools to remove the /en directory from Google all together. This ...

I think what this plugin is doing is taking all the div level elements and sticking the sociable div inside them. Which works great, however your footer is getting pasted with the div as well!! A workaround would be to add a custom CSS class to your themefiles which will render the sociable div in the footer invisible. Something like this - .copyrights ...
