Google's recommendations for multilingual sites say that: URL parameters site.com?loc=de Not recommended But they use them for all their services like: google.com, play.google.com, support....
If you search google you will see ~37K indexed domains/pages using this exact same param. I don't know where this param comes from. What is causing this?

In our server logs, we see that some HTTP requests contain the parameter bmi_MfsTid=<number>. We are not using this parameter. Is there a known client or proxy that appends this?
