Webmasters Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for pro webmasters. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I know this is totally dependant on site content/type etc etc, but people ask questions about what is considered a good CTR for ads so I think this question has merit.

Given x page views a month and n unique visitors, what would be considered a decent:

  • Forum account sign up rate (site interest indicator)
  • Forum posts per month (site health indicator)

This is highly subjective and totally inconcrete. It is not answerable in a passable fasion. Thus, it also does not belong here; see FAQ. – Kissaki Mar 1 '11 at 9:31
Depends on forum, layout, target audience, etc etc. And then, what a “decent” CTR is entirely depends on your targets and your interpretation of decent. – Kissaki Mar 1 '11 at 9:33
